Prominent Construction LLC is a full-service licensed general contractor specializing in insurance storm damage restoration. We're looking for a high-performing Sales Team Manager with a proven background to help us meet revenue goals. The Sales Team Manager oversees the Damage Inspection Specialists (DIS) and Sales Reps (SR), and acts as a representative for the company in line with our culture. You'll maximize the sales team's potential, scout new storm damage areas, and train a sales team of 5+ roofing insurance restoration sales reps.
Role overview
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with evenings and weekends as needed. Must be present for the in-office Sales Team meeting every Monday and Thursday morning. Majority of time will be spent in the field, with other days in-office as needed.
Sales management responsibilities
- Generate new business through inspections and sales/marketing activities in your territory
- Overall supervision, oversight, and responsibility for the revenue performance of the Sales Team
- Support the Sales Recruiter in hiring, mentoring, training, and managing Sales Reps
- Provide overflow support for DIS and Project Coordination when necessary
- Spend the majority of your time in the field with SR's and DIS
- Uphold the Company's core values, internally and externally
- Cross-train SR's to gain experience in DIS and Project Coordination roles
- Identify and mentor sales talent
- Uphold the highest standards in customer service
- Meet weekly with the Sales Team to review KPI's, pipeline movement, and obstacles
- Attend Sales and Company meetings
- Promote all company policies and procedures
- Provide training when any Sales Team member is in non-compliance
Human resources responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting affecting HR functions
- Ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
- Work with each Team member on succession plans for their career, if they so desire
- Identify behaviors contrary to sales success and develop Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) when necessary
Qualifications
- MUST have roofing insurance restoration sales experience
- Successful previous experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Manager
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from beginning to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills
- 2+ years of construction sales required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Willing and able to climb a ladder onto a roof
- Available to work past 7pm on weekdays/weekends when needed
