Our Story
Justin Krein and Chad Ormberg launched Prominent Roofing in 2016 out of their own pockets — no investors, no shortcuts. Chad handled the marketing, Justin ran production, and together they built something the Twin Cities hadn't seen before: a roofing company you could actually trust.
Within a few years, they outgrew their first office. Within a few more, they had a full crew — several of whom are still with Prominent today. They're based in Minnetonka and they're not going anywhere.
The company's the same. The approach hasn't changed: be honest, do the work right, and tell people the truth even when it's not what they expected to hear.

Justin is Prominent's man on the ground — overseeing the install side, vetting crews, and making sure every project is built to the standard he set when the company started. If your roof is on a Minnetonka home, odds are Justin's been on it.

Chad is the reason you've heard of Prominent — and the reason it keeps growing. He runs the marketing, the brand, and the customer relationships that have made Prominent what it is today: a company started because homeowners deserve the truth.
